Well as usual the fall/winter is getting busy for us, production is ramping up but lead times are climbing as well. For most products we are up to around 10 weeks, more for custom orders. Here are some pictures of some current projects in the shop. Production on the 15.H front loaded horn subwoofers, and the custom 8.2P's in carbon fiber/aluminum that have been waiting for parts, that will be arriving soon, are being finished up. We made just two small changes to the 15.H from the prototype; we moved the driver access panel to the back from the side and cut our logo in the front brace.
We have been working on this for the past year, and it is finally ready. The prototype is meeting expectations perfectly. Starting with our famous low distortion high power TSADv1 Neodymium 4.5" voice coil motor and our 2400 watt RMS, 4800 watts peak, DSP controlled amplifier we have designed a 15" driver with over 3" peak to peak travel with low and linear inductance. An incredibly stiff and strong Kevlar/paper fiber cone and a tough rubber surround are used to take the pressures developed inside the horn with ease. Then on to the enclosure design, it is a front loaded horn 9 feet in length featuring a symmetrical throat chamber layout for even and efficient loading of the driver cone. With a -3db point of 35hz, in room response will get to 20-30hz. Peak output is 140db, @1m half space. As is our usual the enclosure is made with 100% Baltic birch. Overall size is 22"x22"x60" and weighs 140lbs.
Its been too long since we've offered a center channel, the wait is over! The 6.3P is ready to order now, Testing is complete and we are very happy with the results. It has exceeded our expectations and we are proud to offer it. Here is the frequency response measurements on axis and 15,30,45, degrees off horizontal axis. As you can see horizontal dispersion is exceptional, in listening tests across over a 90degree zone(45 degrees off each side) the tonal quality and vocal reproduction is amazingly consistent. This center will provide very clear accurate sound across a very wide seating area. Vertical coverage is more controlled keeping floor and ceiling reflections to a minimum even when placed close to the floor or ceiling. The adjustable feet provide a good range of angle so the sound can be focused vertically on the audience.

The TSADV2 motor used in the 18.2 and 21.0 has just gotten a facelift. Performance is essentially unchanged, with a slight increase in motor strength. The main difference is reduced weight, the FEA optimized CNC turned structure is now 5lbs lighter, and as a nice side affect it looks, well pictures say it better;
